Perfect for a weekend stay for before a wedding, or what a great opportunity to savour the Canberra wine country, get out of the city for a weekend, enjoy a drink, not have to drive, and to just relax and unwind on a beautiful historic property.
Situated on the Shaw Vineyard Estate property, Olleyville, the 3 bedroom self contained cottages is literally only a hop step and a jump from the cellar and the Flint restaurant. Located within the cool climate wine region of Canberra wine country, a multitude of wineries are also at your doorstep to explore.
Recently completed and fitted out, the cottage is kitch and decorated with a 1960's theme, right down to the original 1960's Woman's Day magazines. Nothing has been overlooked! It’s like stepping back in time and I’m sure you’ll appreciate the nostalgia. The cottage was built in 1964, has been refurbished over the years but has modern day appliances and technology for your comfort.
Our 3 bedroom cottage contains 2 king size rooms, The Glamour King, and The Retro King, and one single room, Sixties Single, with cot and an optional stretcher single bed. The 60's style mosaic bathroom contains a bath and shower. There is also a fully functional kitchen & laundry for your convenience.
Every Saturday during spring/summer Flint has live jazz music on the outdoor terrace and on Sunday mornings, breakfast at the restaurant is included with your stay. For all other overnight stays, homemade muesli, fresh fruit tea, coffee, milk, fresh farm eggs and bacon in refrigerator for your use. A bottle of wine is also included for you on your arrival to help you to relax, unwind and enjoy the local produce!
2 night minimum stay preferred but please ask us about other options if you require. Packages also available including dining at Flint in the Vines restaurant, wine tasting @ Shaw, Hampers or for one of our special events, like ‘Shakespeare in the Vines’, February 2012 or outdoor Cinema, Moonlight Movies from January 2012.

Sunday - Thursday $180.00 per night per couple. $35.00 per additional guest
Friday $240.00 per night per couple. $35.00 per additional guest
Saturday $260.00 per night per couple. $35.00 per additional guest
Weekly stays, 6 nights/7 days special rate $700.00 per couple, $50 per guest additional per week

Chocolat Package for 2:
Overnight stay in the cottage, a box of locally handmade Robyn Rowe chocolates for your enjoyment, a 4 course degustation dinner at Flint designed with sweetness in mind, and matched with a range of Shaw Vineyard Estate wines including a glass of the Shaw Vineyard Estate Botrytis Semillon, and finished with a espresso chocolate martini, to come 'home' to DVD Chocolat and a sweet bath ball to submerge and relax to after a long sweet dinner. A gourmet breakfast hamper available for your breakfast including farm fresh eggs, bacon, fresh bread, garden fruit and muesli will be available.
